Only a while ago dmtls stumbled upon Burcu Buyukunal‘s radical pieces of jewellry and could not help but [at least think to have] spot certain quite interesting relations between nose hook, a Japanese torture device that was historically used to excruciate the slaves by hooking and pulling their noses now used in BDSM practices, and one of these prototypes [?].

Actually the whole concept of ‘deforming/distorting’ body adornments is quite an interesting one, another clue to the riddle of Beauty.
